Manly Village Check Point

HISTORY

With Little Manly being the home to a wharf with steamers arriving from Auckland, Manly Village was the perfect spot for a development of shops to serve both the northern and southern bays of the Peninsula.

This beautiful mural covers a large wall on the side of the dairy as you enter the village from Whangaparaoa Road. Depicting some of the beautiful cestaceans inhabiting our waters, Whangaparaoa sealife is the most abundant area for cestacean species around the Hauraki Gulf.
